Whisky galore

The Soho Whisky Club is in Old Compton Street along with The Algerian Coffee Store and Jerry’s Liquor Shop. I visited all three today and stocked up for the foreseeable. Added blue curacao and passion fruit liqueur to my cocktail shelf. The latter is an essential ingredient in the Pornstar Martini which was invented back in the 1990s in - Soho! Just down the road from Jerry’s in fact.

Two exhibitions. The annual portrait awards at the National Portrait Gallery, which was surprisingly moving. And the superb exhibition of abstract Ukrainian art 1900-1930 at the Royal Academy.

Also today: saw a defeated Spider-Man in the back of a lorry. Got vegan pastel de nata - delicious. And good progress on the bathroom. Check out the extras.
