Stalking....
This morning was the first morning that felt autumnally cool when I had to wear a jacket - yet I see the weekend it is back to 19C again so it's not the start of the decline just yet.
When I walk Xena in the woods, if I call her when she runs ahead of me, she often plays this game where she turns around and pretends to stalk me...so here she is in stalking mode.
After a coffee at home I went off to golf when we had a session today on putting.
Last night book club was a lot of fun - we discussed the book (briefly) but seemed to spend more time discussing HRT, cancer, and all those topics that seem to become the norm as we age! Years ago our discussions were about our children and school issues. Gavin was upstairs trying to do some work and said this morning that he did not realise how noisy a group of women could be, haha!
Today is our wedding anniversary, so tonight we (including Tommy!) are going to a newly opened Japanese restaurant in the village for supper. It has been so popular since it opened, as it is very reasonable with good food, that we have not been able to get a booking on the previous occasions that we have tried. Tommy loves Japanese food - I don't know of many two years olds that loved sushi as much as he did when he was that age!
I did manage to get my parcel from where it had been incorrectly delivered to our unoccupied neighbours house. The previous tenants contacted me to say there was a gate button on the inside of the gate post, so Tommy went across and got it for me by accessing using that button.
