Those blue remembered hills
Another ten mile walk today with 1,500 feet of ascent into a very fierce wind. When I came out of the woods at the top of the hill I had the most fantastic 360 degree view around north Herefordshire, east Radnorshire and the Shropshire Hills. I chose the latter for my blip as it brought to mind A.E. Houseman's line about 'those blue remembered hills' (from his poem 'A Shropshire Lad'). Looking north the hills around Church Stretton (Long Mynd, Caer Caradoc, The Lawley) were indeed blue. The land of lost content looking at its best.
