Details in the landscape

The light was not kind to us today.

We had a good morning in Borrowdale woods below Castle Crags.

This afternoon the sun was high and bright, so it was very difficult to find decent images. I took small images in the woods at Penny Rock. The reeds in my main image were blowing all over in high winds.

The extras are also of details. I love this sort of photography.

My final image is over Hutton Roof and is Mark’s favourite view in the Lakes.

Tomorrow we will be out in good time for dawn so I will need an early night tonight!
