BEETLEBOM?

Hmmm...do I have another type of beetle here? With the spotted wings, I wonder if it's related to the ladybug. Actually before he landed on the flower, I thought it was some kind of bee because it looked more golden when it was flying. Interesting segmented antennae - a bit different than I've seen. Strange thing - until today, this hydrangea bush was loaded with bumblebees, but today there wasn't a one. Instead there were three or four of these beetle bugs. Wonder if there's a schedule someplace!
