Kingfisher day

We went off to RSPB Lakenheath and had a wander.  We sat in the hide which had no one else in (normally it is quite busy), another couple turned up and we sat and the kingfisher turned up just in front of us.  I did not even have my camera set up, so got it sorted, and took a few photos.

The kingfisher came back, did a bit of fishing, sat on a branch, it was amazing to see one so close up.
