Many of the brambles are soft and even going mouldy now after being affected by the recent damp foggy weather but I did manage to pick a couple of kilos although they are not as large or juicy as those gathered two weeks ago. Nearby there are some late wild raspberries which I have found with fruit after Christmas and I suspect they were probably originally the results of seeds from bird droppings as there were no houses nearby.
