Day of apples

Another day of mixed up skies and weather. Some late afternoon sunshine lit up the red crab apples on this tree. Their red shiny skins looked so bright against the dark sky. Not long after, the rain poured down and Merlin and I got rather wet on our walk.  It was feeling chilly too.

Earlier in the day I made apple cake and spoke with family.
