Henderson Waves

A full day of sightseeing with our friends. Started with a wander around the Gillman Barracks (extra 1). This was the site of the British garrison until 1971 when it was handed over to Singapore for one dollar. It's now an art enclave (plus motorcycle dealership). We had coffee and pastries from the cafe within the Triumph shop (extra 2) then a look at some exhibitions. One was of works by Yayoi Kusama (extra 3). Then we struggled up the hill to Singapore's highest pedestrian bridge (main) which links two areas of tropical bush.
