Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a six to eight inch arcing white line on the windscreen yesterday as I was driving along. (Extra) 

Where did you come from? I asked with surprise.

Well, tomorrow (now today) is a rainy day and maintenance is just right for that! 

Mantra. I’m on holiday. It will be fixed or replaced. 

Update: Sun came out shortly after organising a new windscreen for Saturday in Lourdes. Must be a sign! So I also enjoyed a couple of miles round trip walk into Argelès-Gazost before tea.
