Symmetrical Road and Canal
We've had a lovely day in and around Macclesfield. In the morning we cleaned up the marker stones in the Garden of Remembrance at what was the family's church here, where the ashes of 7 members of my Editor's family are buried, and put flowers in the little vases by each of them. After a bit of shopping and a light lunch we did our favourite a walk over The Hollins - it brings back memories of childhood walks for my Editor and of lots of jogs for me done during my many visits over the years.
The photo was taken from the walk - we had some nice light again today and I liked the symmetry of the road and canal diverging from each other in a wide "V" shape.
In spite of the dark clouds we only had a few drops of light rain during our walk although the heavens opened for a while just after we finished the walk!
