Day trip to Dundee

A friend and I went to Dundee today to see ‘Kimono’ at the V&A. We left my house at 8 am and got our local bus at 08.17 which should have got us into Glasgow 30 mins later. Unfortunately, because of roadworks, it took 57 minutes so we missed the Dundee bus that we were booked on to. Thankfully we got the next one 30 mins later and changed our reserved time slot for the exhibition without issue. It was a lovely exhibition, so many ancient and modern kimonos to see, beautiful fabrics displayed in a pleasing and informative way. 
Afterwards we had lunch, then an hour in a nice wine bar before heading back to the bus. Again this took far longer than the expected 1 hr 50 mins due again to roadworks. Thankfully we were spared the final bus journey back home as my husband came to pick us up in town. Arrived back into the house just short of twelve hours after leaving.
