The "Dude"

Mona, one of my neighbors for whom I often collect her mail when I go to get my mail and then sit and talk for a bit, recently acquired a cat.

The "Dude" lost his home due to marital discord with his humans.

Mona was asked if she might consider fostering him for a bit.

She was a bit reticent to take him in, but willing due to the nature of his unfortunate situation.

She confided in me today that she will not give the Dude back under any circumstances.

It is a match made in Heaven.
