Back to school

I didn't remember it being so elegant, clean and well-kept. But today I went in after many years and discovered that my old school, the high school where I started my career as a  teacher, was a really nice building and worth visiting.

When I was a very young teacher at this impressive high school - Instituto Padre Suarez-  a state owned boys' high school at the time, I was afraid to go up those stairs because some of my students were following me whistling the tune of a cartoon that was on Spanish television at the time about HEIDI. They thought I looked like Heidi because I blushed so easily. My cheeks were almost always red!
How could it be otherwise? I was only 22 years old and they were much older than me, since in my first year I was assigned an English course in the night shift!
In the extra, the back of the school and one of its elegant corridors - those high ceilings!!
