Old Favourite

I am enjoying being less engaged, I still have a fondness for most of the activities I do but not the drive that I once had. That gives me more time for what matters, days out, exercising and helping out Mrs S more than I have been.
So today up early to get her VW T4 out to Chacewater for its MOT and be back by bus in time for Sam to get to appointment at the Poly for 1030.
That left me and Paddy to walk before the Great River Race rowing training in the evening. I have photographed and ‘Blipped’ the “Weeping Angel” before but her fresh plastic flowers at the start of the Uni September term always catches the eye.
Rowing went well, out round Black Rock and back, the training, unlike last year, doesn’t feel like it’s been as strenuous but we will see how we go in a little over a week.
