Making movies

First attempt at live cell imaging in this lab. As expected its far more complicated than it has to be and is ultimately worthless. Trying to see if I increase the amount if our protein of interest in the cell, does cargo get moved around any differently? Answer - probably not.

To make matters worse the boss interrupts me and basically says what I've been doing the last two years is futile at the moment and to change tack. I'm just wishing for the green card to come ASAP so I can hand him in a nice letter of resignation.

After a cat nap in the evening for a few min I get locked awake by babe and force myself to the gym. Did too much and fail my last bench press, stuck with bar on my lap, try to put it back on the rack and unbalance it so weights fly off all over the floor. Luckily not packed at that time so decided to call it a night and go pick the wife up from the airport
