In da hood!

Biochemical safety cabinet class II. More to prevent you contaminating the cells than the other way around. Picking some stable colonies for future experiments - the ones my boss shelved yesterday oh well.

Next time you are watching a news report on a science story and they shoot a scene in a lab setting. Just notice how much pipetting of liquids is done (especially in close up). In fact most of it is just buffers/water etc and done so it looks all important and real. Sad thing is that's what we do most of the time (just with real reagents). One of my friends likes to joke I have a phd in pipetting!

Glad it's the weekend, few beers tonight. But looks like I'm babysitting (with protest) sat night/sun) so will be ready for a rest come Monday....
