Lake Park, Seattle

Another lovely, warm, sunny day today. Enjoyed taking Milo, Kelly's dog, down to a dog park so he could have a good run and get some exercise as he's been a bit neglected in that respect. He's certainly been loved and played with in the house ... he's the most adorable chocolate coloured labradoodle.

Then we took all the boys and the birthday girl's (from yesterday) daughter go karting which they all thoroughly enjoyed, not without incident though! One serious collision had us mums up on our feet and frantic, but the kids really wanted to carry on, so we let them, on strict instructions to be extra careful.

Then Kelly had suggested we have a picnic in the park where a Beatles band were performing. It was fantastic being out there enjoying live music in the warm weather. We all loved it and I even caught up with some more friends from DB!!! It is TRULY a small world. I took this picture on the lake around the park. Kelly used to hang out here all the time when she was a youngster.

What a marvellous time we've had being with the Lams enjoying their home and lives. I'm going to be sad to leave, glad I have Martin to look forward to though. Chicago tomorrow ...
