The USS Arizona followed by a pool day

Shawn came back with breakfast form the Island Vintage Market before Mimi was awake this morning. Fresh pineapple and dragonfruit with ube pancakes. My favorite breakfast of the week!

We visited Pearl Harbor this morning. It's a somber place, but definitely a necessary visit to pay our respects and honor what happened here. Shawn got a nice photo at the USS Arizona in the extras. 

It was a very relaxed afternoon. Mimi and I went swimming at the beach and the pool while Shawn went rum tasting at the KōHana distillery. He joined us at the pool afterwards until it was time to get ready for dinner.

We had dinner reservations at Monkeypod. I love it when we get a table with a bench! Here is Mimi, making a mess of my ketchup as always. It doesn't matter if I give her her own ketchup (seen on the left), she must always put all five of her sticky fingers in my ketchup.
