Andrews of Comber

I am back at the Non Subscribing Presbyterian Church in Comber again and still following the Andrews family.  This grave is of John Millar Andrews who was the second prime minister of Northern Ireland from 1940 to 1943.  I had the privilege of knowing his grandson, now sadly deceased, who served in the Army and retired to Norway where he died.  A mark of the family is one of public service throughout the generations.  The other panel visible on the obelisk is in memory of Thomas Andrews, the designer of SS Titanic who was lost at sea, see extra image.
