Hotel Silence and other ideas

Still hard to believe 9/11 happened – let alone that it only happened 23 years ago. I remember it vividly.

Slept quite poorly – but well enough. Got up at 6.30 and started work. Then quick half hour with the boy before he went to school, then more work. Trying to establish some sort of rhythm.

Lunch with André Guindon, who picked me up and drove me to the Beijing Legend. Got some good tips for new books – he was singing the praises of Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir– so I noted the name and went home and bought a couple second-hand from Momox. They sound interesting.
