The Polar Plunge

I honestly don't know what gets into peoples' minds sometimes!  For some otherwise intelligent-looking souls, plunging into the 2 degrees C waters of the Arctic seemed like an excellent way to spend a little time this afternoon! 

I do admit I admire their bravery, but there's absolutely NO way you will EVER see me join their tribe!!!!!

Today we are anchored off Point Hope, a desolate outpost of some 700 souls.  It's very isolated, with no roads leading here.  The extra is an image taken at the graveyard, which has fencing around it made from whale bones.
