MARKET DAY

We woke to a very very chilly cloudy day but it was market day so we took a 15 min stroll up the road to explore the various stalls from cheeses and bread to handbags and mattresses!!!
#we stopped at a fancy cafe for croissants and coffee and when we came out the sun was shining and it was warming up.
# by 1pm it was almost too hot!!!! I even had to change into my summer dress and we had a delicious lunch outside by the Quai.
##afterwards we took the land train for a tour of Dieppe. Although it was all I’m French ;(( it lasted an hour and we saw lots of the town and beyond. This was the magnificent view from the cliff top overlooking the town. Our hotel is almost the last building at the end of the green. So definitely too far to walk.
We went back to the hotel for a coffee on the hotel terrace and a read. My book is a real addictive read. Afterwards we went for a swim and sauna. At first there was just us 2 but after 15 mins another 16 joined us so…
# we went back to our room and enjoyed our market haul on our balcony….and some more reading.

We also raised a glass to my Dad whose birthday it is today and who we miss often.
