Raindrops …..

….. ….. ….. on a star magnolia. It’s a bit battered and out of focus, but it’s the only one I have.

It’s been a dull rainy day and no sign yet of the promised snow. The Crown Range is only open now with chains so the snow is lowering.

Missy had a couple of walks, early and later, and needed to be towel dried after each one. She’s so good about it and lets me dry her feet too. Just as well I started doing that when she was a puppy.

I did manage some time outside later this afternoon, changing the top soil layer of my struggling lemon tree. I’ve never had problems growing lemons before, but this one has had several learning curves. I’ve never heard of scale before, and the aphids were terrible. Fingers crossed it’ll survive now.
