Rock patterns

I find the shapes of rocks fascinating. The rocky shore along our coast is filled with interesting rocks. One wonders how long they have been there.
We were "locked in" in the village today because of a road race, so we had a late lie in.  I enjoyed pottering around the garden and later had long chats with  daughters Sally in Plettenberg Bay and Penni in New York.. Sister M came for lunch, and then we had our usual trip to the ice cream vendor in the village!
It's been a beautiful day today but of course with some wind!!
Time is galloping by...twelve more sleeps before I leave for New York!
