"Recce"

I am leading a walk for our local walking group next week. It's an old favourite - up to Loch a' Choire (underneath the summit of Ben y Vrackie", around it, across the moor to the Bealach path and then  back down, about 6.5 miles in total with a fair bit of climbing. I hadn't down it for a while and thought I should check it out beforehand for boggy-ness.  Fortunately it wasn't too bad. It was also an opportunity to test my fitness post probable/possible Lyme Disease.  I am pleased to report I felt fine - although thorough stretching was required afterwards. I also enjoyed in a soak in the bath (which is unusual for me).

T in the meantime was taking part in the final performance of Dido and Aeneas. It went well, as indeed did the whole run. Remarkably it stayed dry for everyone performance.

Ghabh mi cuart air a mhonadh.  Chaidh mi a Loch a' Choire agus an uairsin choisich mi  a Bhealach.  Bha  dòrtadh ann ach bha briogais dhìonach agam.
