Peapagan
Some pumpkins I needle-felted earlier and appropriate for today as I'm sitting with cardigan & heating on.
Today was a repeat of yesterday with two significant exceptions. When I woke I realised that corner had not been turned, saw my resting heart rate had jumped again and after some gentle persuasion from T called the surgery. I not only got through reasonable quickly but also a telephone appointment with locum GP. She was very helpful & reassuring and prescribed some antibiotics (on account of persistent cough) which T collected for me. This was followed by a productive execution of Valsalva Maneuver. Yey ! Such a relief.
Today was spent in company of Lady Helen, the middle of the three sisters I will be speaking about. In researching her life I came across a really interesting PhD from ten years ago on the Women in the Gaelic Movement 1886 to 1914. Plenty to keep me busy.
An early night beckons.
