The accidental finding

Some of the evacuees

On a memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum near Lichfield, Staffordshire. We stopped here on our way back home. Some people took miniature train rides to explore the vast area, but I preferred to walk, as it was a lovely day and I'd been sitting for too long. I found tranquility, and lakes/gravel pits and plenty of wildlife while searching for the CoVid memorial, which I never did find.

Got back to Stroud just after 7pm. Was delighted with the places I'd visited on holiday, and the weather, but I think I've learned an important lesson. Going it alone is easier.
