Happy Birthday Mum!

Today is my mum's birthday, but she lives 3 hours drive away and I couldn't be there so have already left her present with my brother, who will deliver it, sent a bunch of sunflowers and given her a call. She says she's not going out for lunch as her boyfriend isn't feeling too well, so they're just going to have a ham salad roll on the patio. I hope that's not a euphemism!

It's also Fossey's 'dad', Simon's birthday and he only lives 8 minutes away on foot, so I've made some peach cakes which I've tried to decorate as ice creams. I've laced them with the banana liquor he gave me as a thank you for looking after Fosse. Fingers crossed that they taste ok. The proof of the pudding ....
