And So It Begins..

Week #7 in hospital

Same room but with a view! Daylight. Blue skies. Definitely a mood lift. I can’t see the sunrise but I can enjoy the morning light. I can actually see the sun go down if I stand close to the window and lean in. What a welcome change from life behind drawn curtains! I am sad to see my roommate leave as I know what the future holds for her but am grateful to have been moved into her spot by the window. I have a new roommate now and am looking forward to getting to know her better as we face the challenges of hospital life together!

One more week until I see the surgeon again for x-rays on both upper arms. Fingers crossed that healing is taking place and physio can begin.I am SO anxious to see some progress.
