Visiting Delft

The rail system around us is proving be very good. It takes around fifteen minutes to walk to the station, the train from here takes us to a large rail centre in Utrecht where we can take a train to various points in the country. Today we decided to visit Delft and the pottery museum, well worth the effort, I have chosen to show a few other colours they have experimented with in extras. Most enjoyable. We had coffee and food here and later looked for the botanic gardens, they are closed on a Monday.


The wander back was through the old part of the town, a pretty area, canals, trees, outside cafes and plenty to spend your money on. We are now on the train heading back to Utrecht, and both feel pleased to sit back and relax.

The cobweb in extra was in the museum cafe, several spiders working together, can’t beat team work. I thought it was the best one I have seen
