Looking Up

A glorious day which disappeared way too quickly. I did a bit of landscaping, adding a corner stone to the raspberry (to be) bed. Maybe landscaping is too grand a word. Digging bricks into dirt.
And it being so lovely out and about, and the boat being handily moored on the pontoon, I took myself off for a sail just around the bay. Wind speed 9mph to 4mph. Boat speed 4kts to 1.5kts to 0.9kts getting into the harbour against the tide.
And tied up, I couldn’t get away. First there were long chats with a chappy on a Via 42 who was heading to the west coast and whose engine is continually overheating. He’s giving up and hauling out. Then to Dublin Tam who has a Sadler 26 but has a case of 29 envy and who needed to see every nook of my boat. Look at that time! Gotta go.
And later, Bad Monkey on AppleTV. Oh it’s very good indeed.
