Lovely boating weather

We got home  in the early hours of this morning. The plane's departure from Madrid was delayed by just over an hour, in recompense for which all of us in the economy seats received a complimentary bottle of water and a small pack of crunchy corn described by the cabin crew as a "snack". There was no trolley service as the credit card  system wasn't working. Not a problem - we weren't that hungry anyway especially after devouring the crunchy corn (Jen let me have her pack!). I downloaded the photos I took on my Nikon today - all 190 of them. And here are three from the Retiro Park - an enormous park near to the Prado Museum. It has a very grand boating lake, a "Crystal Palace" which was shut for refurbishment (see extra) and a number of fountains including one of the Fallen Angel which, at its base, has a number of devilish spouts (see other extra)
