1st day off. Rather nice too :-)

Today began with a nice lie in and several cups of tea. After dealing with some piles of laundry, hanging some out on the rotary line and realising how beautiful the weather was, I suggested to youngest that we went for a pedal on our bicycles along the canal and she concurred.

We didn't go too far, around 10 miles in total, but on the return leg we hopped off the Peak Forest Canal and joined the Apethorne Link section of the Trans Pennine Trail, calling in again to father in laws to say Hi.

Later I drove to Ashton Under Lyne for an appointment and to get some shopping from Lidl.
The plan for tomorrow is to do some more chores and hopefully fit a windscreen to Biscuit in time for next week's Holz with Ms.Arell & Fidra.
