Not Abandoned

Headed up to the allotment with some apprehension to check things out but it could be in a worse state - only half of it looks abandoned! The beds are as dry as anything and rock hard in places so digging up some spuds was a bit of a challenge. Headed home with a few pounds though plus a couple of cukes and a rogue courgette that decided to become a marrow. That’s sitting outside the front door because there’s nowhere to put it in the kitchen.
On the plus side, both ‘wild’ tomato plants have become bushes and actually have some green tomatoes. I’m amazed.
