Told you it was coming..

..summer, and th eheat finally arrived in Scourie. Grey and misty start, soon burning off to give sunshine and blue skies, and I've recorded 20.2 deg C.

Croftcrafts and the Crofter came over to help me with my birthday cake. Harvested some salads for a hotel that was going to be collected at 10:30, eventually delivered it at 3:00. Been weeding the carrots, not difficult because most of the weeds are taller than the carrots! Just time consuming. Will re-think the spacings for next year. Carrots that I weeded earlier are growing really well. 2 and 3/4 beds done out of 8 now!!
