Barrioboy Away on Scottish Boys’ Weekend

Bb left in the afternoon to meet up with the Scottish boys for their weekend away.

And me? ‘Estoy de Rodriguez’! This expression, I believe, comes from the 60s and was originally used by men whose wives had gone off to the pueblo with their children to spend the summer and they were left home to fend for themselves and do as they wished. Nowadays though, it’s used by everyone, not just the men. I googled it and couldn’t find the origin of ‘Rodriguez’ - perhaps just because it’s a common name.

I haven’t done any marking at all today. Did some ironing, bit of food shopping at Ametller Origen supermarket and have just finished making a pot of leek and potato soup - some from the freezer and will hand some into Angels.

Might have a bite at our Frankfurter later on.
