Every little helps
Today dawned as promised - sunshine from the word go. Working clothes on and down to the roadside to fill 18 bags with leaf mould from my two year old supply. I took it down to the Corran Halls in two loads ready for the work on Saturday morning. I’ve agreed with Live Argyll to renovate and replant the bed beside the building - my Blip today - and to tidy up the terrace and steps beyond - my extras today.
I must be mad. Only two Keep Oban Beautiful supporters answered my Facebook plea for assistance - this will probably be the last attempt to be involved with council or similar flower beds. I just don’t see how we can make a difference really.
After lunch we drove up to Kinlochlaich Garden Centre at Appin - I wanted to pick a few shrubs and perennials to replant the bed with. I have a limited budget to work with. Before coming home we popped into the Caster Stalker View café for a cuppa.
