At first light it was clear outside. Next time I looked out it was misty. That meant a temperature inversion. 

I had bags of hedge trimmings to take to the tip recycling site and needed some groceries so packed the camera too for a blip detour.

Visibility got worse as I headed downhill. Tip was closed for skip changeover so I drove to Tesco and took the shopping home. The sky was blue there so I quickly set off again for Waterhead. Relieved to find one parking space because I didn’t have a plan B. 

Stopped at the tip again on the way back . . . it had reopened.  I had a drive to the garden centre later for bird food and bought my 2025 calendar too.

Cut both lawns in the afternoon so just some dead heading to do now for a tidy garden.
