Boy Beano Breakfast

Granny Wendy is in bother for bringing the Beano down here!  It was a slow breakfast and get ready for school this morning as Euan was absorbed in the adventures of Dennis the Menace and his pals.  It might have to go under a cushion before tomorrow morning!

We finally managed to get Euan on his bike and away to school at the right time and then Tony and I walked down into Oxford for second breakfasts at Gails, our favourite cafe.  I had the most gigantic pain au chocolat!

Afterwards, we strolled through the city to the bookshops and discovered that Blackwells and Waterstones are now one and the same and we could use our Waterstones cards in Blackwells.  That's a result.  We decided against lunching in the city and caught the bus back up.  A few jobs and dinner prep took up most of the afternoon and it was time to collect Euan from after school club.
