next door

Still unoccupied and year by year the plants and wildlife take over. I try to take a couple of photos each time I'm here. One day (not sure when...) there'll be an album or a photo book that will show the changes over the years. Last day here, so packing, getting rid of stuff, deciding what to leave, what to take etc. We will be back end October, but I guess that could be the last time, if the place sells. Morning tennis, evening dinner with friends. High tides had temporarily flooded the village but all back to normal apart from a few puddles by the time we got there.
I always feel so well after a stay here; the outdoor life agrees with me, as does the daily exercise and lack of pressure. There are times definitely (especially last days) when I think how much I'd like to be here full-time. But we have other things to do, other people to see, another life to live and I'll most likely be perfectly happy in twelve hours time when I'm back home.
