A collared dove

Collared doves are rather rare visitors around our parts these days where once we saw them all the time and usually in pairs.  This bird was therefore rather a surprise, doubly so because he/she was alone.
I've taken no photos for the past two days as we have had visitors, our dear friends from Perth Australia A and D.  It has been lovely to see them and catch up but there was no time for photos.  We will see them again in Italy in a couple of week's time.
