The clock is ticking at the end of the line

I noticed this hollyhock in passing, the only one left in a cluster that had been flowering during the summer months.

 Went to the supermarket in the afternoon, and then worked in the garden continually day by day as the growth of weeds and hedges is ongoing!  I am looking forward now to the autumn and winter when the hedges and shrubs will be able to be severely cut back.
