bhon uisge
Another day, another morning swim and more experimenting with my waterproof camera. It was surprisingly chilly this morning but the water was actually warmer than expected and so all four of us swam to the pine and back. A great start to the day.
I then attended an online meeting with the council and representatives from various service to discuss arrangements for our forthcoming Bonfire and Fireworks Display. There was also representatives from the Perth one. It was a really useful and constructive meeting and all is in order which is good.
During this my new fitbit arrived. It should have arrived on Tuesday but on checking the delivery tracking I discovered that it had been sent to my old address. I bought it through google store and there didn't appear to be an option to select or confirm delivery address (or if there was I missed it) and I assumed it would be sent to that linked to my google account. But no it defaulted to an old address. To further complicate matters it had just been left on the doorstep. I contacted google support and they said they would investigate and get back to me but it would take 24 to 48 hours. They got back to me in less than 12 hours to say that a replacement would be sent which I was happy and relieved about.
Some searching (on google - where else) suggests that I am not the only person to have been caught out by this. However all is well that ends well.
Snàmh mi a-rithist. Bha an t-uisge nas blaithe na DiMairt. Chaidh mi dhan chiad ghiuthas agus air ais. Chòrd e rium. Fhuair mi uaireadair ùr. 'S e "Charge 6" a th' ann. Tha e cho spaideil 's a ghabhas.
