A hot day

We came across a small animal farm when out walking, a number of goats could be seen, sheep, chickens and two donkey’s who didn’t mind a gentle pat on the back. Later a number of Great Crested Grebes, possibly mothers and young, it was good to hear them twittering out on the lake, a new sound for us. It really was too hot for walking, we arrived back at the house feeling shattered.
