My Dunblane exhibition

Popped in to the Museum in Dunblane to see my how my exhibition was doing ( a bit like  an author furtively entering a bookshop and moving her book into a more prominent position). Gill, a volunteer, was in the process of putting a poster outside so she instantly became my photo for the day.

I check the comments on Covid and find only two new entries. (see extra for one). The reason is obvious. Someone had nicked my pen. Pilfering is inevitable when you exhibit work in a public space. I once had a television set stolen from the Transmission gallery in Glasgow.

Re. Covid- photographic installation. I encourage folk to write about their own experiences. These are anonymous and often written in stream of consciousness. (See extra).

“ the dreaded home learning from schools and the terrifying thoughts of contacting the dreaded virus.
And the thought if you contracted it you would die was horrifying, the whole world was in panic, and for good reason.”

Even three years after the event  the memory is still raw .
