Keeping watch

This is a backblip. Last Sunday I walked along the Lower Pipeline and on the way back I saw a Kotare (kingfisher) sitting on a wire across the road. After getting a photo while still quite distant, I moved to get closer, but after the first step, the bird flew. Kotare are very sensitive to movement.
