Level 39

Day 2 of Birthday Fun Week; the actual birthday! I've had a lovely day; got thoroughly spoiled with gifts in the morning, then we did a mini pub crawl (Head of Steam, The Colmore and Pure Bar) to sample some new beers, before heading to Santorini for Greek dinner. I am now mad at myself for never having been there before; they gave us free bread and dips whilst waiting for our starters, the food (spanakopita to start and pastichio for the main for me) was absolutely scrumptious, and they gave us a free mini cheesecake and ouzo shots at the end of the meal! We felt terrible when we left because we paid by card and there was no option to tip, and neither of us had cash to leave. I guess that means we just have to go back soon and tip double, eh?... Finally, we headed to The Everyman for a preview screening of The Substance. I was already pretty sold on this movie from the trailer, but then it turned out to be a body horror that was utterly disgusting, completely mad, and I absolutely loved it. Brilliant stuff. Back home to catch up on Taskmaster!
