Strawberries

They look red and ripe, but in reality they're rather hard and tasteless, and lacking that delectable strawberry aroma, so almost certainly the last English strawberries I'll be buying this year. They make a bright, cheerful Blip though.

A rather trying day. A lunchtime hospital appointment in Huddersfield to have an ambulatory ECG device attached to my chest to measure my heartbeat for 72 hours over the weekend. It took about 5 minutes to fit, with over 3 hours travel time getting there and back on public transport. Admittedly, I did have time to dash to Boots in Huddersfield for a couple of items before catching the bus home.

Put the second coat of stain/wood preserver on the shed floor when I got back. At last. it's finished and ready for use...
