Mission Possible

I took the 1pm bus in to Didim, specifically to search for and purchase  if found, a salincak* to enjoy these late summer early autumnal evenings relaxing on my terrace with beer and book. The bus takes nearly 50 minutes because it goes on tour. I only mention this because, having finally arrived in Didim, the bus stopped right outside a furniture shop with exactly what I wanted on display amongst the garden furniture and the buying process took about five minutes!  Slightly disappointed to be told that delivery wouldn't be until Saturday, but hey ho.  

Mission accomplished, and before the journey home, I embarked on a sort of 'value for time spent travelling' trip and went for a walkabout that included taking the photograph I assumed would be my blip for today (extra) and a brief supermarket visit for some Turkish mezzes. 

Imagine my delight when less than two hours later the furniture store called to say they could deliver by 6pm today if that was convenient. 

It was.
